WHo built the chopper Nic Cage rode in the movie...was the ghost rider bike actually built..

Johhny Blaze versus the son of the Devil? This movie will rock! Of course Nick Cage is gonna rule. He chose the name of a marvel hero to pursue a career in acting. I'm pretty sure if he didn't feel he could do Johnny Blaze justice, he wouldn't even try. Way to go boys! And atta' boy Ghost Rider! We'll see you on the silver screen in 07'!

OK..being the big G.R. Fan that I am and to answer Dylan C. Bargas' question, Yes..the ORIGINAL Ghost Rider was a Cowboy with a special cloak that would make him either appear without a head or without a body. Besides this, he had no real superpowers. They eventually changed his name to "Night Rider" as to avoid any confusion with Johnny Blaze's alter ego. Funny enough, I've noticed that the Ghost Rider in the film is more like the Danny Ketch verion of Ghost Rider than the Jonny Blaze version. The Jonny Blaze version never had a chain. His motercycle was diffrent, too. What I'd really like to see is if they're going to make Ghost Rider talk in the movie. I always wondered what that would sound like..

PinDaddy: We do know already that Ghost Rider will indeed talk in this movie and from the sounds of things, it's going to be freakin' amazing. They've mixed all kinds of different sounds with Nic's speech, including a mechanical Lions roar. It apparently will shake the cinema.

Also, the movie mixs all versions of Ghost Rider. It has the awesome look of Dan Ketch in the Johnny Blaze storyline. We also know that a version of the western rider is throughout as well.

Incredible stuff. Its a shame that its taking so long to come out though, but it at least gives you guys more time to polish it up. I hope this movie births an all new movie fanchise just like Spiderman. Great Work!!! This movie will be #1 in the box office for weeks!

ShaleLord: I'm with you on the introduction of Dan but, we're not gonna get it in this one. I think it would make for a great 2nd story though. Nic has already said that the 2nd has to be better than the first and this is one great way to keep the human elements of Ghost Rider present. The brother storyline is a great way to do that... of course, it'll have to be changed somewhat to make it work in film but, that's okay. We understand.

Personally though, I think Sony should be the first to create a movie crossover with Spidey and Ghost Rider. Have him face Hobgoblin or something. Now that would kick some serious ***!

I agree with Jarrett. If we see a sequel, Johnny should be the Rider. But don't do the "Road to Damnation". That was a good comic, but it wouldn't make a good movie. I just hope you left room for a sequel and didn't end it with GR #81.

Jarrett: In the Marvel Universe there are several realms of hell, each ruled by a different being. Mephisto rules one of them and Lucifer another. They are not one in the same. In fact, Lucifer is the lead baddie so far in the new series with no mephisto in sight.

.......first spiderman and now ghost rider....sony has made me a huge fan of spiderman with the movie. but they have made me a even bigger fan of ghost rider with just a two minute long clip. GHOST RIDER IS GOING TO KICK SO MUCH ***!

I know that mephisto also exists with the devil in the universe but in volume 2 they said mephisto gave johnny his powers when in volume 1 it was cleary Lucifer and from then on until the new viscous cycle storyline its usually mephisto but the new comic is amazing I advise every one excited about this movie to pick up a copy

I am really more a BLADE fan or WOLVERINE (X-MEN) fan but this movie looks to be GREAT! I was bit concerned about the CGI effects but so far it looks amazing and I want to see more. I believe it will be as good as the first Blade was maybe better.

Aww man... where do I begin? ehh first off thanx for all the great work that you've done so far, MSJ you have no idea how much Ghost Rider fans love the character, really you don't, I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one that has a shrine in their homes ( of virtully everyhing with a GR stamp on it ), we ( the fans ) relate to his ways his mannerisms, and the mistakes one has made on his life and how he must continue to pay such doings. More thrilling than Spider-Man and more edgier than Daredevil. This is the best Marvel Comic movie ever made.

I've been a Big fan of Ghost Rider for almost 15 years i'm 21 now. And i'm so happy about this flim. the x-men and spider-man are good don't get me wrong. but i consider Ghost Rider to be a personal Hero on mine. It is safe to say out of all the marvel heros and villans Ghost Rider is my favorite.

Where to begin... I have collected all the camocis, including the cowboy ghostriders. The rider symbolizes what it like in the modern world for alot of people. Sometimes for the greater good, a little evil must follow.

As far as Mr. Cgae being more like Dan, than Johnny...Check out the bike. Johnny road the hog, while dan's was more a mixture of a crotch/and road bike. There may have been other actors who looked more like Johnny, but think that Mr. Cage is the only one who could have pulled off the personality...

Something I've been thinking about for a long time is the extreamly unique opportunity Sony has to mix the Marvel Movie Universe together. There's no reason, that I can see, that Sony wouldn't slip Spidey into this movie somewhere. Have him talked about on the news, in a newspaper, see some webbing, have him mentioned... anything really. This would not only give Spidey (the next movie following GR afterall) some free promotion but make all Marvelites wet themselves as well.

Just a thought and for all I know, you've already had it as well.

This movie looks good! Nicolas Cage is one of my favorite actors.

I loved the Ghostrider comics of the 90's, and I am really looking forward to this film. I agree that it looks great, and I hope that it is, indeed, great. I am so glad Cage finally gets to star in a comic-book movie, I have a feeling he is going to be awesome. The plot sounds good, and I don't mind the small liberties taken with the story. I actually like MSJ's concept concerning the relationship between Blaze and Mephisto better (the idea of GR being the devil's bounty-hunter). It sounds good to me, and I think it does make more sense. I can't wait until the premiere.

Ghost rider rules!

I am 40 and I have been a fan of Ghost Rider since I was in my early teens. I have been waiting for this movie for years and can hardly stand that it will take until 2007 to finally see it. I even have my kids and wife excited about this movie. I still own most of the original GR comics and this movie will be a welcomed addition...
