Nice take on Blackheart. Crossing my fingers for a 14-foot tall all spiney and tendril version showing up.

That was great but since we saw who is johnny blaze,roxanne,and now blackheart I would like to see who is Ghost Rider for more of a in depth look at the actual demon

Blackheart sounds awesome! This movie is gonna be terrific! I can't wait! I think it's great having an actor like Wes Bentley playing the role of essentially the devil's son, Blackheart. He brings this uneasy presence to the movie that you just know there is something more than skin deep and that he may just let loose on you at any given moment.

Wes looks extremly promising in this role, especially given the content of Blackheart and his motives now. I'm a huge fan of the character and just whimpered like a little baby when the x-men writers put him in a suit and tie. Blackheart having a human form is great, he does that in the comics quite often but is usually just a guise. Now it's Blackheart AS a human, not just playing one.

I'm sure you're saving demon form for later, but just to reiterate what the fans are saying, we want to see him as he appears in the comics and in the arcade games, a giant, mouthless, glowing eyed, mane-of-spines beast that's out of your nightmares.

I know it's taboo to do a character without facial features that move (ie Dr Doom, V for vendetta) but that ick that covers his mouth could easily make it look like he's talking underneath it, stretching and flexing like suffocating plastic covering someone's mouth. That's always creepy in horror movies. Good luck Mark and team!

Excellent blog this week folks! We finally get a few shots of Wes in action which is something the fans really hasn't seen much of as of yet. Even better is the description of the charactere itself. Seems to me you guys will successfully lift this character from the pages to the screen... and I love it!

Of course, like Jin above me, I'm hoping to see BlackHeart in a demon form that's close to the comics as well but, I'm not sure if that's something we can expect. It may not translate properly. We can sure hold on to hope though and I'm sure whatever you folks do with it/him, it'll be amazing.

An avid fan of the GhostRider series myself(since 90's), Fireballs,demons, motorbikes and the hardworking Nic Cage not-withstanding(This promises to be a hit with young men).So,I do not mean to take away, when I say - That Mr. Bentley, is the primary reason why women in my demographic would run to see this film. It's understood however (as Jin had pionted out)that Mr. Bentleys Blackheart, is not known to have a human form aside from 'guises'.It is obivious to me, that Blackheart will take spiky,red-eyed monster form(im sure the tranformation itself is worth the price of admission).But hopefully at the very last minute and consequently not for too long.Casting Bentley as Blackheart is genius. For several reasons,1: If the devil did have a son,It would not be too hard to imagine him looking much like Bentley(his stunning steel and ice disposition and inky rock-star makeup, helps this along) and 2: You boys get the beautiful Miss Mendes as eye-candy, Cant us geek-girls get a little incentive too?.Too mar Bentleys expressive "merchant-ivory" face with rubbery prosthetics, would limit his talent,and rob us(girls,especially) of his blue-blood allure.GhostRider will be rich with dazzling CGI(we count on it).But hopefully the CGI supports Bentleys performance , rather than "crowd" his credible acting skillz.

The female demographic is a very large one,It would be ill-advised to be stingy on the Bentley.

I agree with MountainMare!!!! Bentley is the ultimate Blackheart-throb. no doubt. I have been dying to see him in something really intense for years. I hope you guys help bring back W.B. from the obscurity he has plunged into but doesn't deserve. I always wait for any movie he is in. I'm getting anstsy for this one. 2007? Too long to wait!

Dammit this is going to be a great movie, since i am fan of the marvel comic movies ( exept for the hulk) i think this will be the greatest hit ever since since spiderman, don't miss it for nothing in the world!

BlackHeart (wess)was the cream of the crop choice to play along side GhostRider (nic)as arch enemies, The chemistry between the Actors was extraordinary. The World is in for something special and fresh. I know! How? I was there on set playing an police extra, get ready for a ride guys Thanks M.J.

I agree with everyone on the fact that BLACK HEART is theeee Cooooolest Character in Ghost Rider (He's MY Idol) Just kidding but he's awesome. also he has all of hells powers but none of it's weaknesses sweet ONce Again BLACK Heart Is Awesome aside from the older guy whos name still escapes me AND finally Black Heat looks awesome in human form Like "Jin Saotome" Great Job
