That bike is amazing. One of many things that pulled me in to this movie about a year or so ago was that I heard a Buell was going to be in it. I'm a huge Buell enthusiast and I think it's great to see one put into a movie. I love my Buell Lightning. I use to race a Firebolt XB9R and my friend Brad Haley @ PushrodRacing.com is still racing a modified XB9R built up with parts from Rich @ Innovative Motorcyle Research. I heard a rumor the Buell in the movie has parts from IMR. I'm very psyched for this movie and love the production blog.

Now THAT was an update :)
very cool and very informative..those other bike designs were sweet!
Cant wait to see what other tricks that monster will do in the movie.

I love this look for the hellcycle. You guys did a great job getting the perfect look for ol' Flame Heads ride.

Ghost Rider is my favorite and this is going to be the best comic movie so far!

SWEET!!

Awesome update! I can't wait to see the hellcycle in action.

I have been waiting so long for this movie to come out as I had a part in providing transportation of the vehicles in and around Melbourne Australia. Some of the scenes you are seeing in this film are of Melbourne in the city, the bikes were built at the Royal Melbourne Show Grounds. This is where I saw the artistic work of many people to make sure the vehicles and the bikes were done properly for this movie.... It is a credit to all.

Wow that was a great blog we actually got to see how the hellcycle was created and the blog was pretty lengthy too.
Hopefully we get to see a making Ghost Rider blog just like that.

I always thought the bike was boring in the 70s comic, i mean it was just a bike with flaming tires. The "Hellcycle" in the 90s Ghost Rider looked more original, but the type of bike didnt really do justice.

But this bike rocks, not only is it a chopper, but it does infact look "hell-ish" I love the skull designs on the nadlebars, and the spikes and rims, etc. I think the design team did a fantastic job.

Now tell me, who WOULDNT want to ride this thing? Do you have any idea how many chicks you would pick up with this thing? Not to mention how awsome it looks.

Posted by: Matt on 09/22/06 at 02:03 PM

The bike is the one thing that took a little time for me to warm up to , but I'm lovin' it a little more every time I see it .
Now if only you could manage a limited production run ... ;-)

I just can't wait till Feb...It's about time GR got vengance on the rest of those other Marvel Heores for getting their movies, I juts have my hopes up that you guys would include the song "Hell" from Disturbed on the soundtrack....

I am in absolute awe in how brilliant the design and practical application of this wonderous machine is. I just find it amazing how far technology has come. This chopper really helps assure the fact that if you dream it, it will be manifested.

I have been a huge fan of the Ghost Rider comic since I was a child and with the recent releases of movies where comics meet the cinema, I've always know that this would be the best story for the screen.

Amazing work on the Hell Cycle, I can't wait to see it on the big screen.

Posted by: the ShaleLord21 on 10/05/06 at 03:10 AM

I wonder if Marvel Comics and or who ever else own's the rights to the creation, has partnered up with any reputable bike builder to build any limited editions Hellcycles for a select few? Jesse James would get my vote but then again, for all I know, JJ might not even be interested. I think he's the fabricator for the job.

Posted by: Brian Hughes on 10/05/06 at 02:04 PM

any chance there might be a contest to win the Hellcycle ?? I would sell my soul for that sick ride !!

(hear that Mephisto...come get my soul...just bring the Hellcycle !)

Love the Hell Bike it is Awsome

Posted by: Edward Perry Sr on 10/20/06 at 07:34 AM

I have wanted a motorcycle for so long, and after seeing this bike, I want one even more!!

Just like when the first fast and the furious movie came out, everyone was really into racing cars. I think it will be the same for this movie, but ...
getting awesome bikes like the ghost rider's!!

Posted by: Megan Flood on 10/22/06 at 01:52 PM

I agree, the bike does look awesome- in fact, awesome's not even the word! There's so much detail and hellish "attitude" on this beast. Nic Cage must be very proud to ride such a awe inpsiring bike.

Posted by: LIZ on 10/22/06 at 04:26 PM

Does anyone know who built the Ghost Rider bike that is in the movie?

Posted by: Thomas on 10/23/06 at 11:29 PM

I teach video production and computer animation and this will be a must see film for myself and my students.

Does anyone know you built the two bike used in the movie

Posted by: terry on 02/18/07 at 07:03 PM

hey is that the updated retro bike used in easy rider movie ?

Posted by: andre' on 02/25/07 at 03:04 PM

Is the Hellcycle all fiberglass? Who made it? Any specs? That is the reigning king of all choppers.

Posted by: Rich on 03/03/07 at 09:58 PM

The film was brilliant. But the artistic design that went into making that bike is out of this world! I take my hat off to who ever made it! The artist has extreme tallent. Congratulations on a job so well done. Is the bike coming to the UK at anytime? so i can see it.
